Independent Cambridgeshire lawn care services

Terms of Service

These terms and conditions shall be deemed to be incorporated into all general maintenance and service contracts between CTT and the customer.
All quoted application prices include call-out and materials used for each application.

In the event of Lawn Master not being able to gain access to the lawns because of locked gates, or inaccessible lawns for other reasons, and as a result a new treatment date has to be arranged, in some circumstances this will involve a call-out charge being made of £18

Cancellation Period

You have the right to cancel your contract with CTT within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the date on the quotation/contract.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the contract by a clear statement (e.g. letter sent by post or email).

The contract we offer is a service maintenance contract. If you requested to begin our service during the 14 day cancellation period, you shall pay us the amounts stated in the quotation for work carried out in this period, until you have communicated to us your cancellation from this contract.
After the 14 day cancellation period, your contract with CTT for ongoing treatments and services will continue until notice of cancellation is given. You must give notice of at least three working days of cancellation before a treatment is due to be carried out.

Cancellation of our service may be done at anytime after the 14 day period, by telephone or in writing to your local office, at which point confirmation will be given. In the event of CTT being prevented by act or default of the customer from carrying out the work or application at the agreed time and place, or in the event of less than three working days notice being given by the customer to CTT of cancellation before the next due application, the customer shall pay to Lawn Master a total cancellation fee of £18.

These terms and conditions do not affect the Customer’s statutory rights.

Before Application

Please do not cut your lawn for approximately two days before we call to apply an application. Although this is not crucial, it will greatly improve the effect of what we apply to your lawn.

If a weed killer is being applied it is more beneficial to not cut the lawn for approximately 4 days before application, the more leaf of the weed there is the better the uptake of the product will be.

Please ensure that you leave your gate open, or access to your lawn for our operator on the day. In most cases we can secure the access again when we leave.

There is no need to be present at the time of the application unless you wish to be present, as long as we can have access to your lawns.

If your treatment date needs changing or rescheduling, please inform us as soon as possible.

After Application

After an application has been applied to your lawn, it is best to avoid cutting it for at least 2 days. Weed killer applications will work better the longer they can stay on the leaf.

The job sheet invoice will have details of the application applied to your lawn, together with any further instructions or recommendations.

Safe Lawns

We do not apply unnecessary applications of harmful chemicals to your lawn. Our applications are safe with children and your pets.

CTT does not require any outside power to complete an application to your lawn. We may on a rare occasion require water to mix some products that we use.
